autofs5-ldap software package provides LDAP map support for autofs, version 5, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install autofs5-ldap
autofs5-ldap is installed in your system.
Make ensure the autofs5-ldap package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep autofs5-ldap *
